Sparring

Student should show improved ability to move their hands and feet in coordination. No contact is allowed.

As you get higher in rank we ask that you begin to get a little closer to your opponent. Getting closer means that you should be using much more focus and control. Control will allow you to Spar at a faster and harder pace without the fear of getting injured.

REMEMBER Sparring can be a lot of fun as well as a great workout. As long as both ‘Fighters’ follow the rules and respect each other in order to prevent injury.

Even though Sparring is ‘Free Flowing’ it is always good to have a few ‘rehearsed’ moves you can execute quickly and fluidly.

Sparring Technique # 2
