stepbystep[1] On a comfortable length of thread, attach a stop bead (How-Tos), leaving a 6-in. (15 cm) tail. Starting at any corner of the pattern, pick up 21 110 cylinder beads for rows 1 and 2. [2] Following the pattern, work in odd-count peyote stitch (How-Tos) using cylin-ders. End and add thread (How-Tos) as needed while you stitch, and end the work-ing thread and tail when you complete the pattern.[3] Add 18 in. (46 cm) of thread near the center of the band, and exit an edge bead in the large shamrock at figure 1, point a. Work in brick stitch (How-Tos) to add the first lobe extension (a–b). Sew through the beadwork to exit at point c, and add the second lobe extension (c–d). Sew through to the other edge of the band, and add two more extensions as shown. End the thread.

[4] Add 10 in. (25 cm) of thread to one end of the band, and exit the fourth up-bead in the last row with your needle pointing toward the center of the band.[5] Pick up 11 cylinders and half of the clasp. Skip the last six cylinders, and sew back through the next one to create a loop. Pick up four cylinders, and sew through the fourth up-bead from the other edge of the band, sewing toward that edge (figure 2). Retrace the thread path through the clasp connection a few times, and end the thread.[6] Repeat steps 4 and 5 at the other end of the bracelet. w
