“Not only does Ms. Clark have many professional talents, she is an intelligent and motivated individual. When thinking about Shamelia, I am reminded of a quote by Shirley Chisolm. ‘You

don’t make progress by standing on the sidelines, whimpering and complaining. You make progress by implementing ideas.”

-Rochelle Henderson, PhDSenior Director, Research

Express Scripts Message

@ExpressScripts

As apart of the Social Media Management Team For Express Scripts Inc. it was my responsibility to make sure that our company’s motto i.e. “The Express Way: Integrity, Mutual Respect, Passion, Alignment, Collaboration and Service” was conveyed through all social media outlets.Development of the content that was shared on posts, tweets and retweets, generating a message of community through health and charity as well as communicating the latest trends, warnings, and information about prescriptions.

Express Scripts Cares

@ExpressRxHelpWhile managing the social channels my job included making sure the members concern’s were handled on a corporate and concierge level. When corresponding on both the Twitter and Facebook channels I responded with the character “Shai” and “^SC” to identify myself as an individual and not a computer generated message. Many of the cases that I personally handled & ultimately resolved, I regained their overall trust with the company, shown in the featured conversation to the left.

Writing DELUX#DeluxMagSTL@DeluxMagazine

Early on I knew I had a gift of speaking to the masses. DELUX Magazine is now an nationally distributed magazine in 32 states and is featured in chain stores such as Walgreen’s, CVS, and Whole Foods. When Keith Griffin Editor-In-Chief and Founder of DELUX Magazine, approached me in 2011 with the opportunity to be an contributor and freelance writer, I couldn’t refuse. I have written as an ghost writer for several articles and even had my own column on the website titled “Cacoethes”.

inadvisable.Joining DELUX gave me an larger audience for my more taboo posts. Having creative control over my lifestyle column allowed me to share my taboo thoughts and get feedback, as well as interact with our readers. Although we have since switch to a different online magazine publisher for our web content, we have lost our comments, likes, and shares of all content prior to 2015, it is still available. Just a couple of the most shared, tweeted, and liked Cacoethes articles with links are to the left, simply click the images.

Events &Projects ManagedWhile I have a vast experience in Social Media, Web Content, and Creative Writing; Project Management is also an extremely important trait that I carry. Drunken Fish, Express Scripts, Better Family Life, Café Soul, and DELUX Magazine all utilized this skill set for organization of concerts, fashion shows, and diversity seminars.Managing the logistics of guest speakers and performers travel, lodging, transportation, and engagement amongst other details. Organizing venue setup & breakdown, constructing budgets, marketing maintaining guest lists including invites and confirmations, as well as day of operations- most importantly strong social media presence.

Brands Managed:Photos Graphics &EventsBest part about being a creative is that your reach is endless. You can bring something to an product or showcase it in a light that no one ever thought of. I created Chic Enterprises to do just that!I have had the privilege of working with some fantastic entities who simply wanted to reach everyone and engage them on their levels. Through this request I was given creative freedom to do just that; from directing photoshoots, to creating graphics, and even executing events my clients reached thousands.

Major Brands Managed:Photos Graphics &EventsMajor Brands representative Cornell Boone approached me with the opportunity to help launch then new liquor NUVO as well as Miller Lite, Miller Lime, Red Strip, Smirnoff ICE and Smirnoff Vodka with an urbane campaign.I seized this opportunity and went to work organizing an launch party for the products that included an photo shoot, commercial, and evening of video. The photos & graphics reached 30,000 and the event generated 900+ guests. I have also worked with Drunken Fish, LOLA, All Occasions Limousine, Avion Tequila, Macy’s, COCA, Patron, Coca Cola, amongst others..
