SHAKESPEARE'S ITINERARY IN STRATFORD Stratford is Shakespeare's birthplace and it's the place where he spent a lot of time of his life. He also died here at the age of fifty-two, on 23 April 1616. This town was obviously different from today's for many reasons: the size, the smell, the noise and the general atmosphere. Here there are also many places of Shakespeare's life that you can visit. William was born in 1564 in a house that today is also visited by a lot of people. This house is in the centre of the town in Henley Street.

The Holy Trinity is the church where William was baptized on 26 April.

The house known as New Place was Shakespeare's family home from 1597, where he lived for a period and where he died in 1616.
