Interview Insights

“I wish there could be an easy way to track things.”

“I needed a small piece of cardboard, I went and bought a whole big sheet. Later

I came to know I could have got it for free from any shop.”

There is a lot of cardboard, pink foam, paint, etc. that can be reused.

“Classrooms are the most popular places

to find freebies.”

“During finals or after school ends when people are moving and need to get rid of things are the best times.”

“They leave the materials at the front

of the building with a note that says “Free!” or “Take me!”

They think the app should definitely

be focused only on the SCAD community to prevent shady local interactions.”

“50/50 between work and personal projects.”

“I like to browse and find cool patterns from past use.”

Footer scrolls with the page; it needs to be fixed. (Software limitation)

There needs to be a way to back out of the screens.

Drag and drop feature needs to be addressed - it is not working properly.

Two heart icons next to each other is confusing - what is the one above used for?

Images on browsing page need to be fixed - they slide around.

How do you know that you need to shake upon opening the app to change categories, other than making an assumption from the app name?

“Processing” is too technical of a term - change language to be more user friendly.

Heart icons at the bottom of the page are redundant.
