ePortfolio Dashboard
The Dashboard is the main landing page for onQ ePortfolio. On the Dashboard page, you can add new content to your onQ ePortfolio.
ePortfolio My Items
My Items consolidates all of your artifacts, reflections, presentations, collections, and learning objectives into a single view, enabling you to view, search, and manage all of your content from one location.
From the My Items page you can:• Add ePortfolio content by clicking the New or Upload buttons• Bulk add items to a presentation or collection
Perform common actions on your ePortfolio items, such as • View and Preview (image and HTML file artifacts only)• Edit and Copy (presentations only)• Delete, and Share
Your ePortfolio items display in a list that you can sort by name or date modified, ascending or descending. Filters at the top of the list enable you to search and manage specific sets of content; you can filter by item type or sharing status.
ePortfolio Artifacts
Artifacts are any electronic resource you choose to collect, reflect upon, share and / or present in the ePortfolio that demonstrates your learning.
An artifact can be research papers, videos, photos, PowerPoint presentations, or any other form of digital media.
You add artifacts as independent files to the “My Items” area and then organize artifacts into collections and presentations. You can also share artifacts with others.
To add an artifact go to My Items and +Add• Reflection• Link• File Upload• Web Document
ePortfolio Reflections
A reflection is a critical analysis of the significance of the artifacts
ePortfolio written reflections require critical thinking about what artifacts mean, what expertise was gained from creating those artifacts, and how the artifacts are connected. A reflection allows you to think about your learning.
A reflection can be created as an independent file (i.e., an artifact) or it can be a comment that you associate with another artifact, collection, or presentation.
ePortfolio Reflections
A reflection is a text file that you create in ePortfolio to reflect on course content.
A reflection can be created as an independent file, or it can be a comment that you associate with another artifact, collection, or presentation.

ePortfolio Collections
Collections are kind of like folders of items: they are groups of Artifacts, Reflections, and/or Presentations that you can create and use for organizing your ePortfolio items. Collections can be organized by course, research topic, case studies, etc.
An item can belong to multiple collections at the same time.
A collection can be shared with others.
There are multiple ways to add items to a collection:
• Add items manually on the Edit Collection page• Add multiple items at once by clicking Add to Collection from the More Action
button• Select the Add to Collection option from the context menu of an item
ePortfolio Tags
Tags are key words you associate with an ePortfolio item to help categorize them (e.g., course codes, subjects, topics, purpose, status, etc.)
To add a new tag, enter the word or phrase in the New Tags field and click Add Tag.You can search for items with specific tags.
Use quotes " to create multi-word tags, e.g., “active learning”.
A private tag can be created by typing an @ symbol in front of the tag e.g., @draft.
ePortfolio Presentations
A presentation is a professional looking, customizable, and private web project that you can use to organize and/or showcase your work. An ePortfolio can contain multiple presentations targeted at different audiences.
ePortfolio Themes
Themes are default style templates that give your presentations a consistent look and feel. Themes are comprised of styles which control one aspect of the design. For example, there are separate styles that control the look of titles, links, dates, and images.
