• All federations got the maximum score for the publication oftheir statutes and sports regulation. Only half of them publishedtheir internal regulation (55%) and multi-annual plan (55%).
• Only one third of federations included in their annual reports astatement on salary, a similar one on the remuneration of the CAmembers and of the management.
• No federation included risk exploration in their annual report,nor a statement regarding conflicts of interest.

• Regulation ensures that the AG picks directly most of CA members(88%), while elections unfold on the basis of secret voting (88%).
• Very few federations set term limits for CA members in theirstatutes (11%).
• Very few federations have a formal policy regarding theimplication of employees in the organisation’s policies (12%) andnone of them have such a policy on the implication of athletes.

• All federations provide a clear definition of key CA positions,including the president’s and at least one other important position.
• Less than half of the federations have a code of conduct applicableto the CA members and the staff (44%).
• None of the federations’ codes applicable to CA members providerules in regards to gifts, only a third of the federations set rules onconflicts of interest and less than a quarter have rules on expenses(22%).

• All federations have a formal policy that specifies theobjectives and particular actions for prevention, screening andfight against doping, and implemented doping disciplinary rulesin conformity with the WADA Code.
• Only a third of the federations have a formal policy thatunderlines the objectives and specific actions in regards to theconsultation of the organisation’s members on the subjects ofmanagement and governance.
• Few federations have objectives and specific actions meant toimprove the social, cultural, educational or psychologicalsituations of marginalised communities (11%).

The score obtained by the Romanian federationssuggests that the sports system in Romania needs a Codeof Good Governance implemented with the full support ofthe Ministry of Youth and Sports.
At the academic level, the Faculty of Journalism andCommunication Studies will use the data collected throughthe Erasmus+ project to disseminate knowledge amongstudents and use them as scientific support for Masterdegree and Bachelor degree.
