SGG VISION-LITE is ideal for allapplications that require maximumtransparency and unimpaired visionthrough the glass.

• External:- Shop fronts and show rooms;- Glazed areas in panoramicrestaurants;

- Control towers, control rooms andobservation rooms;

- Screens to separate spectators interraced stadiums.

• Internal:- Display cabinets in museumsand protective screens for paintings;

- Display units and shop fronts;- Internal partitions (hospitals,clean rooms, control rooms, etc.);

- Television studios (less reflectionin front of the cameras);

- Interpreter booths and sound booths(conference rooms, recordingstudios, etc.);

- Zoos and aquariums.

Cost savings: the excellenttransparency and low light reflectionof SGG VISION-LITE may avoid theneed for blinds and help reduce therequirement for and cost of artificialinterior lighting.

Optimumvision: very high transparencylevels and very low residualreflectance (approximately 8 timesless reflection than conventionalglass) for improved visibility.

Clarity of objects: better contrastand colour rendering.

SGG VISION-LITE anti-reflective coated glass significantly reduces the reflection of light on the surface of the glass.To achieve the anti-reflective effect, the glass must be coated on both faces.

SGG VISION-LITE is manufactured by magnetically enhanced cathodic sputtering under vacuum conditions, applying atransparent coating of metallic oxide to the glass surface.

• SGG VISION-LITE coated glass cannotbe heat-treated, i.e. toughened orheat-strengthened.

• For roof applications, it is notrecommended to position theanti-reflective coating facingtowards the outside (face 1).

• For horizontal interior applications(museum display cabinets, shelves,tables etc), precautions must betaken to avoid frequent and excessivefingermarks and the risk of scratching.

SGGVISION-LITE can fulfil various functions;

•Noise reduction using SGG STADIP SILENCEacoustic laminated glass.

• SGG VISION-LITE can also be assembledinto double-glazed units consisting oftwo sheets of laminated SGGVISION-LITEglass; in this case, all four faces aretreatedwith the anti-reflective coating.For enhanced thermal insulationproperties the inner sheet of the innerlaminated pane can be replaced with alow-emissivity coated glass such asSGG PLANITHERM.

SGG VISION-LITE is a coated glass whichis treated on both sides. It must beprocessed and installed in accordancewith specific instructions.

- SGGVISION-LITE is available in SGG STADIPPROTECT laminated glazing, producedfrom SGG DIAMANT extra-clear glass.

- SemiVISION-LITE is themonolithic glassused for theproductionof SGGVISION-LITE.

It is an extra-clear glass with ananti-reflective coating on one side.SGGVISION-LITE is manufactured bylaminating two pieces of semiVISION-LITE together.

Important

The residual reflectance of SGGVISION-LITE anti-reflective glass is very low(approximately 1% for laminatedmonolithic glass). It is however still visible undercertain lighting conditions, viewing angles and in certain surrounding environments.

The residual reflectance depends on the angle fromwhich it is viewed.Perpendicular to the glass, it is slightly bluish and can vary slightly. For externalapplications (eg: shop fronts), it is strongly recommended that a sample is viewedin the intended location.

* On SGGDIAMANT glassValues given in accordance with standard EN410.The reflectance values aremeasured perpendicular tothe glazing. As with conventional glass, the reflectionincreases when the glass is viewed from an angle.

SGGVISION-LITE meets the durability requirementsof Class A of European standard EN1096.
