State the problem in the form of a question

It must be a testable question.

Gather Information

Use your previous knowledge on the topic and gather more info.

Your goal is to learn about the topic so you can become more educated on the topic.

Form Hypothesis

Use the gathered info to make an educated guess

“I think...when I put the match in the water, the water will explode…”

results of your experiment will be.
