    MIDNIGHT MADNESS:Hey everyone! My name is Sarah Groves and I am the Director of SportsMarketing for SGA this year. One of the biggest events we put on for our spor tsteams is Midnight Madness!

    Midnight Madness serves as the kick-off for our mens and womens basketballseason and is also part of our homecoming festivities. This year MidnightMadness will be THIS WEEK on Wednesday, Oct. 3 in the eldhouse. Doors open

    at 10 p.m. and the event starts at 11 p.m.

    Come early and be one of the rst 100 students and receive a FREE Cougar

    Crazies shirt. You can also bring your couch to the gym for a chance to havefree pizza! There will also be a Cougar Crazy costume contest with free prizesfor the craziest male and female fan!

    Speaking of free, I dont know too many people who would turn down gift cardsto places like Best Buy and Applebees or what about just some cash? Cometo Midnight Madness, participate in games, win prizes, watch the creativeintroductions of both basketball teams, a dunk contest, and much more. See

    HOMECOMING:This week is HOMECOMING! This weekend there are lots of special events goingon! Some events are put on by the SAU alumni association, and others are puton by SGA, including Midnight Madness (see above!) and the HomecomingDance!

    The Homecoming Dance this year doesnt have an ofcial theme, but will be

    a modern, clean-cut design of black, white, and red. The Dance is a fun-lled

    night to hang out and enjoy food and music, featuring Bobby Pratt from StudentDevleopment as the DJ for the night! Tickets are $4 and will be available from

    Wednesday until Friday outside of the DC, as well as at the actual dance.

    Also, VOTING for Homecoming King and Queen is going on as well! You canvote on Facebook (facebook.com/springarborSGA) or by emailing sausga2012@

    gmail.com.
