Sexton family photographs and documents were donated to the library by Ralph and his wife Christine Sexton. The majority of the collection can be attributed to the father Waldo Sexton who settled in Indian River County about 1914.

postcards arranged by topic and numbered consecutively are in box two and three. Also includes postcards about the Driftwood Inn. Box four is family mementos and documents collected by Waldo E. Sexton.
Language English Dates c.a. 1885‐2012 Historical Note Waldo E. Sexton was an entrepreneur who traveled to many places and collected items
for his unusual buildings located in Vero Beach, Florida. He was named to the list of “Great Floridians” in 2000 by the Florida Department of State. Born in Shelby County, Indiana, he graduated from high school and attended Purdue University.
In 1918, Waldo Sexton married Elsebeth Adelina Martens in Jacksonville, Florida. He had
four children: Mary Jacqueline Sexton, married Jack Daley; Barbara Louise Sexton married John Robert Tripson; Ralph Waldo Sexton married 1)Hildegard Barrett, 2) Carol Wetherby, 3) Janet Christine Dale; Charles Randolph Sexton married 1) Eleanor Graves, 2) Audrey Graves.

01035 George Florschultz ‐ plasterer ‐ according to local pioneer Rosie Stubbs, he worked for Waldo Sexton at the Driftwood, Mckee Gardens and Ocean Grill. According to the 1930 and 1940 census he was in construction as a plasterer. He was born 1897 in Jena, Germany.
