Stonehenge and Colosseum

• The Stonehenge is a prehistoric monument in• Wiltshire, England. It was built anywhere from• 3000 bc to 2000 bc. It is believed that Greeks, Druids or

Atlanteans might have built the Stonehenge. It is used for rituals and sacrifices.

• The Colosseum is an Elliptical building located in Rome, Italy.It was built in 70CE and finished in 80CE.

• The Colosseum was used for gladiatorial contests and public spectacles such as animal hunts, mock sea battles, re-enactments of famous battles, executions and dramas.

Catacombs of Kom EL Shoqafa and Great Wall Of China

• The Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa is • an archaeological site located in Alexandria,

Egypt.• It was used to intern the dead. It was built

starting the 2nd century A.D.• The Great Wall of China is a series of fortifications

made of stone, brick ,tamped earth, and wood. It was built along an east-west line to protect the Chinese Empire from invasions in the North.

Porcelain Tower of Nanjing and Hagia Sophia

• The Porcelain Tower is also known as bao’ensi( meaning temple of repaid gratitude.

• It is located in Nanjing, china.• It was a pagoda constructed in the 15th century during the

Ming dynasty.• The Hagia Sophia used be a church, later a mosque, and

now a museum.• It is located in Istanbul, Turkey. Built during 532-537 AD.• It served as an church for more than a thousand years.

Leaning Tower of Pisa

• The cathedral of the Italian city of Pisa, known worldwide for its unintended tilt to one side.

• It was completed in the year 1372.• It’s height stands at 55.86 metres or 183 feet.• During World War II, the Germans were using the

tower as an observation post.
