Settings required for ESR eLearning using Remote Access

(from your own PC)

Please Note: SCAS ICT are unable to offer any support for configuration and setup of

personal devices accessing SCAS systems.

Open Explorer. If you are using Windows

10 you will not be able to use Edge. It

needs to be Explorer 11. Type in

Explorer in the box highlighted. Or use

the All Apps and search for Explorer.

Click the cog image in the top right hand

side.

Click on Internet options as highlighted.

Click on Security tab.

Click on Trusted Sites

Click on Sites and add each of the

following. You will need to click Add after

each

*.mhapp.nhs.uk

www.esr.support.co.uk

www.nwyhelearning.nhs.uk

www.nhselearning.co.uk

https://elearningcontent.south.hee.nhs.uk

Click close when

finished.

For Apple products from the Safari Menu, go to 'Preferences -> Security -> Web Content' and select; 'Enable Plug-ins', 'Enable

Java' and 'Enable JavaScript'. Do not select 'Block Pop-Up Windows' otherwise your progress in e-Learning may not be saved.

the Security tab select the internet button

and set the custom level for the following

settings. You will need to scroll down

until you find….

Initialise and script ActiveX controls

not marked as safe for scripting. Set

this to disable. Click on OK

From the Security tab, select the Trusted

Sites button and set the custom level for

the following settings. You will need to

scroll down until you find….

Continue scrolling down until you find….

Display mixed content. Set this to

enable. Then click on OK.

To access ESR e-learning from your

internet browser (explorer) enter
