With a central concept of software li-brary and its functional tree, traceability is ensured starting from the use of standard templates. Requirements are represented by work items that can be interconnected, such work items are also used to represent design elements, implementation tasks, defects. The linkage between work items is managed within the software library and thus spares the need to keep external excel sheets to maintain traceability from requirements to defect, via design, test cases and code.
