Mr. Jafar HusainPresident ICAP

Mr. Jafar Husain is a fellow member of ICAP. He qualified in 1989 and is the Central Principal of“The Professionals’ Academy of Commerce (PAC)” a fellow RAET of ICAP established in 1987 by Mr.Ishfaq Ahmed (Late) FCA. Mr. Jafar has been elected as the Vice President-North of ICAP for theterm 2017-18. He has served on various committees of ICAP including Education and TrainingCommittee, Accounting and Auditing Standards Committee and CPD Committee (North). He hasover 28 years of experience in the education sector and during this time he has also been closelyinvolved in various initiatives and developments undertaken by ICAP.

Mr. Iftikhar is a governance practitioner with over 28 years of industry experience in financialservices, fast moving consumer goods, information technology, textile, media, advertising andbulk drug manufacturing sectors in various roles. He has the experience of corporate world inboth local and internal markets. He has trained over 200 directors of listed companies oncorporate governance in private and public sectors and journey is on. Currently, he is working asdirector Governance & Strategy at Horwath Hussain Chaudhry & Co. Outside work, he is a keengolfer and a mentor.

Mr. JehanZeb is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP), hasover 22 years of experience and is serving as Partner at A. F. Ferguson & Co; Chartered Accountants- a member firm of PWC. In addition he is a Certified Internal Auditor from the Institute of InternalAuditors USA , is a fellow member of Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountants and is also anMBA. For well over a decade he has been serving at various committees of ICAP including thePublic Sector Committee, Publications Committee, CPD Committee, ICAP/FBR Joint Committee etc.

Mr. Asad is a fellow member of ICAP. He has done graduation in law as well. He is a fellow memberof Association of Chartered Certified Accountants of United Kingdom, Institute of Public FinanceAccountants and Institute of Taxation and Management. He is a partner at Grant Thornton AnjumRahman. He is a former consultant to “The World Bank”. He is an IFC approved trainer on CorporateGovernance. He is a SECP certified director. He was also a member of Northern Regional Committee(NRC) of ICAP for the term 2013-2017 and reelected for the term 2017-2021. He had been Chairmanand Secretary of NRC ICAP.

Jawad Gilani is the Head of Organizational Excellence at Packages Ltd, previously he has worked asHead of HR Central at HBL. He has worked in North America, Middle east for 13 years beforemoving to Pakistan in 2011. Jawad holds Undergrad from Trent University in Ontario Canada andcompleted his Grad studies from University of Ottawa. He is also a Certified Leadership Coachfrom Harvard University.

Worked for leading organizations in Pakistanand KSA including Siemens Pakistan, Fauji Fertilizers Bin Qasim, ICI Pakistan, Kot Addu PowerCompany and SSC Arabia. Have been playing a key role in the Executive Committee as a changeagent.
