Tile view and List view


Open a Template

Select a single template to see the Open icon.

Two options:• Open in BI360 Cloud• Open in Excel

Available in:• Live Reporting• Budgeting


Open in Excel

Like Report Player in BI360 version 4.

Design tab displays but cannot be selected.

Allows for Excel functionality during analysis.

Can publish for a standard Excel file.


Open Template and run Report

If you haven’t published your template, you’ll see this ribbon.


Standard Excel File

• Template > Open in ExceloPublish with desired parameters

• Template > Openo Select parameters and Runo Export to Excel


Open > Comment

A new tab (worksheet) is added; enter text as desired and Save.

Comments remain when the report is shared.

Additional sheets can be added.

Comment sheets can be based on a predefined template.


Share Report and/or Send to Archive

Share allows you to select from Roles or individual users, or both.

Send to Archive adds the current version of the report to your Archive.


Archive

Default display is the list view.

Unopened reports are bold.

Select an item to display the toolbar.


Standard Excel File

• Template > Open in ExceloPublish with desired parameters

• Template > Openo Select parameters and Runo Export to Excel

• Archive > Download


Open > History

History is maintained for each set of selected parameters.

If a report is archived, it displays separately.

Individual items can be deleted.


Pop Quiz

• You wish to add comments to your report, but don’t see the button. What’s wrong?


Sharing Templates vs Reports


Categories

Define Categories of your choice; parent and child relationships are supported.

Add templates to one or more categories.

Select a category to filter the template display.


Assign to Categories


Remove from Categories

Click to clear a category to remove the selected templates.


Share a Category

If sharing with a Role, all users in that role will have access.

Users must have the Live Reporting license to see shared templates.

If they also have Report Designer, they can modify the template(s).


Shared with me

Users cannot add more templates to a shared category.

If a shared user modifies a template and saves, everyone’s template is changed.

Publisher

Assign a name.

Select the templates/playlists. Parameters are based on the template designs.

Select the recipients; users or roles. Users must have the Publisher Recipient license permission.

Define scheduling (optional).


Add to Package

Add multiple templates to a Package for a single “workbook” style presentation when run.


Package

Open to run, all templates must be published.

Edit to remove included templates.


Tile view > Information

For packages or templates.

Hover and click to flip the tile.

Can edit:• Name• Thumbnail display (Auto, No, Remove)• Owner
