• Understand that there are different kind of learners.
• How we use concepts to construct meaning.
• What do learner’s do when they construct meaning/develop understanding?
• What helps learner’s construct meaning?
• What hinders learners as they construct meaning?
View the role of WSL through 2 Key concepts below:
– Form: What is it like?– Function: How does it work?–Causation: Why is it like it is?–Change: How is it changing?–Connection: How is it connected to other
things?–Perspective: What are the points of view?–Responsibility: What is our responsibility?–Reflection: How do we know?
• Share the various connections you made .• Create a visual/poem/graphic organizer etc. to
represent an Ideal WSL.
Action Plan
• Revisit your personal SCOT analysis and identify what concept you can use to set personal goals for yourself to take you closer to being an Ideal WSL.
