Students Expected to Test Fall 2015
• All students who will be completing during the fall semester one or more of the ELA or Math courses aligned to an EOC test.
• Possible students who will test:• Students on block schedule• Students in credit recovery or alternative schools• Students retaking a course they previously failed.
• Ultimately it will be up to the schools to determine when students will be required to take the EOC test based on their current course enrollment.
Task 1 This task is no longer available.
• Task 1 - Verify mode of testing that is selected for each school.• Tech Readiness is now closed.• All schools that were CBT last year will continue to be CBT.• All schools that were PBT last year, will take the Fall assessment based on
the Tech Readiness mode that was selected by August 26.• Schools that selected PBT will be required to continue to update the Tech
Readiness tool and select the mode of testing for each test administration.
Task 2 Continue tracking new students
• Task 2 - Create student files for uploading into TIDE.• Continue to track all new students for Fall EOC eligibility.
Task 3Start immediately, must be completed prior to testing.
• Task 3 – New AzMERIT Secure Browser must be uploaded on all devices for CBT testing.• All devices must have the new secure browser installed. The secure
browser that was used last year, will not work for this year.• The new secure browser must be installed prior to the day of testing.
• Available now – must be completed prior to testing.
Task 4Start immediately
• Task 4 – Schools administering CBT must add users into TIDE.• All District Test Coordinators from last year were removed.• All other users that were added by your district/charter were not removed
from TIDE.

• To receive paper version accommodations in the school initial order:• Students had to be in TIDE by September 4.• Paper accommodation had to have been marked by September 4.
• To request paper version tests accommodation after September 4;• Student must be added in TIDE.• Paper accommodation must be marked in TIDE.• Test Coordinator may have to place an additional order.

• The Pre-Test Training that you are currently viewing fulfills this requirement. • Covers all test administrations for AzMERIT and AIMS Science• Session 1 – Test Coordinator Training • Session 2 – Test Administrator Training• Session 3 – AIR Systems
• Covers each specific test administration• Session 4 – Fall 2015 AzMERIT EOC – through December• Session 5 – Spring 2016 – AzMERIT – will be available January - May• Session 6 – AIMS Science – will be available January - May

• District Test Coordinators who have one or more of the schools in the district/charter that will be administering the Fall 2015 EOC test must complete the Pre-Test Training Sessions 1 – 4.
• These trainings are available for download from the ADE website. District Test Coordinators may use these copies for Test Administrator trainings.

• Have a copy of the CBT Test Administrators (TA) User Guide.• Have the appropriate User role in TIDE.• Have completed and passed the Test Administrator Certification Course in

• All devices that will be used must be prepared for testing:• Must be in working order• Headphones• Keyboards• Mouse.
• Have the new Secure Browser downloaded and installed.
