The difference Jesus has
made
The difference Jesus has
made
• Seeking to BLESS someone, whether from our community or beyond, every week.
• Attempting to EAT with someone that we don't live with every week.
• Growing in a practice of taking time, at least once each week, to LISTEN to the voice of God's Spirit.
• Developing a discipline of LEARNing from the Bible.
• Living out what we learn and experience of God as we are SENT into life.
What does it mean to serve?
• Look up the following verses:
• Genesis 12:2-3
• 1 Peter 4:10
• Philipians 2:3-4,7
• John 13:34
• James 2:14-26

Membership
At Discovery Church, we only expect of our members what the Bible clearly expects of all believers. These expectations are summarized in our Membership Covenant.
We are commanded to love each other, pray for each other, encourage each other, admonish each other, greet each other, serve each other, teach each other, accept each other, honor each other, bear each other's burdens, forgive each other, sing to each other, submit to each other and be devoted to each other.
Membership
At Discovery we have four requirements for membership:
1) A personal profession of Christ as Lord and Savior.
2) Baptism or profession of faith as a public symbol of one's faith.
3) Completion of the membership class.
4) A signed commitment to abide by Discovery Church’s membership covenant.
