FIRST REGISTRATION: Saturday, May 12, 2012 from 9:00 – 11:00 AM at the Delaware Valley High School 9/10 Cafeteria. Delaware Valley School District residents are people residing in DelawareTownship, Dingman Township, Matamoras Borough, Milford Borough, Milford Township, Shohola Township, and Westfall Township. Registrants must show proof of residency.

Notice to All Participants:Delaware Valley School District residents who register in person on Saturday will be signed up first, followed by registrations of non-residents who register in person, and then mail registrations will be

processed. Non-residents and mail registrations will NOT be recorded on class lists until 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 12, 2012. Please sign the registration form where your signature is required.

Non-residents are required to pay $20.00 non-resident fee for each class they are registering for, with a maximum amount of $60.00 per participant or family.

COURSE DESCRIPTION: This exam has 5 parts and will be given in two evenings. The fee for the examincludes both days - Day 1: Science, Social Studies, Language Arts Reading, Day 2: Math, Language ArtsWriting. The GED exam is administered to students who have not attained a High School Diploma. Successfulcompletion of the exam will lead to a High School Equivalency Diploma from the Commonwealth ofPennsylvania. Participants must have proof of Pennsylvania residency. Please bring a pen. Pencils will beprovided. Limited to 10 students. *Students under the age of 18 may take the exam if they provide documen-tation from an employer, a college or university official, a military recruiter, a state institution or from a courtorder. This documentation is required upon registration along with a high school withdraw form from the stu-dents past guidance counselor. Taught by AARP volunteer instructors, itcovers rules of the road, age related physical changes that may impact driving and tips to compensate forthese changes. COURSE DESCRIPTION: The circle music class will include singing, playing instruments and movementactivities. Children will be learning several songs in each class, including instrumental accompaniment formost songs. Students will also learn to listen to music through interpretive movements, either choreo-graphed or improvised. The children will be learning to interact with each other in a musical setting, as wellas how to cooperate with a group in order to perform a song as an ensemble. Students will be able to singwith better pitch recognition/matching, listen with more focus, and use their creative thinking skills to solvemusical problems.INSTRUCTOR: Jessica Armstrong
