Siemens Condition Monitoring (TCM) as well as the Siemens WebWPS SCADA(Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition)
Preventive maintenance and 24/7 monitoring adds value to customers’ wind farms as production losses are minimized
(Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition)
Turn unplanned into planned service
Reduce time ‘spent in the field’
Ensure high wind operations and hence optimize cost of energy
Early detection and diagnostics can help optimize maintenance planning
> 4,500 turbines equipped with diagnostics systems
first system delivered in 1998
24/7 surveillance as an essential cornerstone
Remote error fix rate ~ 80 percent

Turbine Condition Monitoring
Siemens Turbine Condition Monitoring – How it works.
The system is based on accelerometers located on or near main components, such as the main bearings, gearbox and generator.
SVM sensors conduct structural vibration analyses and monitoring through built-in two-analyses and monitoring through built in twoaxial accelerometers.
The M-system acquires data and conducts front-end analyses and alarm evaluations in real time for early detection of weakness orreal time for early detection of weakness or failure.
MCM accelerometers conduct machine condition monitoring.
