Jesus tells us that whoever simply trusts or
believes in him alone will receive God’s forgiveness.
“For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16 NLT)
“For there is only one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus. He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone.” (1 Timothy 2:5–6 NLT)
“We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ.” (Romans 3:22 NLT)
If you would like to pray for God’s forgiveness, you can use this prayer, praying sincerely and meaningfully:
Dear Father in heaven, you know all about me and my situation. I am truly sorry for my sins, where even my best efforts do not reach your standard of holiness. I accept that I deserve your punishment, and that on my own there is nothing that I can do to improve myself enough or make up for my sins.
Please forgive me. I know that I can be forgiven because Jesus suffered and died on the cross in my place, for my sins. I know that you will accept me because of your great love for me.
Please heal me from the brokenness of the past. From this moment on, please help me to trust in the risen Jesus, not only as Saviour, but also as Lord of my life. Thank you for the Holy Spirit in my heart to give me the strength and guidance I need to do your will, and to teach me from your Word, the Bible.
From the bottom of my heart I thank you for your great love and forgiveness, my new relationship with you, my new life in Christ, and for the certainty of eternal life with you for ever. Amen.

We offer you a warm welcome to our
fellowship. We hope you will feel at home as we worship God.
We are a group of people, mainly from within the Nationalist
community, who have a love for, and desire to serve, our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. We are an independent Christian
Fellowship and have no formal ties to other churches or organisations. We describe ourselves as just Christians. Our
source of truth and doctrine is ultimately only God’s Word, the Bible.
We believe that our deepest needs, including true peace, joy,
forgiveness and love, can only be met through being reconciled to God. As Augustine said long ago; “You have made us for yourself, and our hearts are restless until they find their peace in You.” Jesus said: “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” (John 10:10 NIV) Jesus wants us to experience the fullness of life that only comes through receiving the Holy
Spirit to renew us. Yet, our sin is a barrier between us and God. Thankfully, Jesus has died on the cross in our place, so that we can be forgiven.
We therefore try to enjoy God by living godly lives and we also
encourage others to both be reconciled to God and experience the newness of life that are only possible through faith in Jesus
Christ.
If you would like to chat about what we believe, or discuss
what you believe, feel free to contact us (see overleaf). If you
would like prayer, please see one of us, and we can either
pray with you there and then, or remember your concerns in
prayer later. Feel free to attend a Bible study/Fellowship group as well as Sunday services—ask someone or a leader for
more details. More information is available on our website
and blog (see overleaf).
Our services normally start with notices, opening prayer, a
time of singing praise, prayer time, ministry focus on another ministry locally or worldwide, Bible reading, sermon, Lord’s
Table, closing with a hymn/song, with tea/coffee/chat afterwards.
This week’s focus is on Tearfund, praying for churches to change their communities and
the world, beginning with prayer. For more info, visit: www.tearfund.org/onevoice

Reading: 1 John 4:7-21
Title: Godly love proves salvation
Love because God is love
Like Father, like son and daughter
For God so loved the world…
…not that we loved him first!
Love proves believers are right with God
If you see love in believers, you see God in believers
Believers know they are God’s children – by the Spirit within, by their experience, and by their faith in Jesus
We know and believe that God is love
Love means that believers have nothing to fear
Do you have confidence for the judgment day?
If there is love in believers, they have nothing to fear
Because those who are Christ’s are already righteous!
Loving God’s children shows whether we love God or not
Loving others is a result of salvation, not a way to be saved
We cannot love God, if we do not love others
Therefore be sure to obey God’s command to love others!
Anyone who is trusting for salvation in the
Lord Jesus alone, by faith alone, is welcome to take part in the Lord’s Table. If you are
unsure if this describes you, please let the bread and wine (non-alcoholic) pass you by.
If you or anyone you know would like prayer for anything, either text the prayer request to
07938706552, or place a written request in the offering box. The prayer team will keep your
prayer request confidential and pray for it
during the following week.
Topic: Proclaim Christ – All Have Sinned “Don’t you realize that all of you together are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you? (1 Corinthians 3:16 NLT)

We had a good annual general meeting on 18th February—
thanks to all who took part. One outcome of the meeting is that we will be having monthly prayer meetings in addition
to prayer at Bible study groups. These will alternate between the first Wednesday and the first Saturday of each month.
See the events listing overleaf for details of the upcoming
prayer meetings.
