Diego Serrano (Lleida, 1975) y Pedro Serrano (Lleida, 1974) son diseñadores interioristas y directores creativos, graduados por la Escuela de Arte y Superior de Diseño ONDARA, Tárrega (1996-2001), y son miembros del CODIC (Colegio Oficial de Diseñadores de Interior de Catalunya), IFI (International Federation of Interior Architects) y ECIA (European Council of Interior Architects).
Fundaron su propio estudio de diseño multidisciplinar en Lleida, en el año 2000. Desde entonces, muchos proyectos han sido llevados a cabo por estos hermanos y su equipo, con una actitud transgresora y un acercamiento nada convencional a la conceptualización de los espacios.
Desde los inicios, huyen de la sobriedad, el minimalismo y el aburrimiento, en busca de lo que ellos han bautizado como "unexpected design", que es el resultado de un inconformismo innato, y la certeza de que siempre existe una forma diferente de pensar y de actuar, lejos de convencionalismos y posiciones cómodas. Su inspiración viene de la experimentación y de los constantes viajes por el mundo.
Actualmente combinan los encargos con actividades de I+D. En 2010 comenzó la consolidación de SerranoBrothers™ Design Studio con la apertura de estudio en Londres y delegaciones en Barcelona, Madrid y Benidorm.
BIODiego Serrano (Lleida, 1975) and Pedro Serrano (Lleida, 1974) are interior designers and creative directors. They graduated from the Art School and Design University ONDARA, Tarrega (1996-2001), and are members of the CODIC (Col.legi Oficial de Dissenyadors d’Interior de Catalunya), IFI (International Federation of Interior Architects) and ECIA (European Council of Interior Architects).
They started their own multidisciplinary design studio in Lleida in 2000. Since then, many projects have been undertaken by these brothers and their team with a transgressive attitude and a cross-cutting approach to the conceptualisation of space.
They innately get away from sobriety, minimalism and boredom, and towards their trademark: the so-called “unexpected design”, which is the result of blunt nonconformity and the certainty that there is always a different way to act and think, away from conventionalisms and comfortable positions. Their inspiration comes from experimenting and constant trips around the world.
They combine commissions with R&D activities. In 2010 they started the consolidation of the SerranoBrothers™ Design Studio with the opening of a studio in London and branches in Barcelona, Madrid and Benidorm.
