An Areal View of an Unusual Building (Exodus 25:1-9) Proposition: Every one of us can discern great spiritual truth in the summary of three basic truths concerning the Tabernacle.

I believe that if we look at the structural make up of the Tabernacle of Moses we can see essential spiritual necessities that are to hold our spiritual lives.

The Coverings of the Tabernacle (Exodus 26:1-14) Proposition: The coverings of the Tabernacle are what separate it from the outside world. These four coverings are a beautiful representation of Jesus Christ. I want us to see four aspects of the Lord Jesus typified by these Coverings.

The Table of Shewbread (Exodus 25:23-30) Proposition: In type and shadow, we see three aspects of this table that will enable us to live a health and satisfying Christin life.

The Alter of Incense (Exodus 30:1-10) Proposition: There are three aspects of prayer that can be drawn from the picture of the Alter of Incense that can reinforce the principle position of prayer in the life of a follower of Jesus Christ.

The Ark of the Covenant (Exodus 25:10-16) Proposition: Here in this passage of scripture, I want to parallel three characteristics between the Ark of the Convenient and the Lord Jesus and show how that He is the absolute necessity for our eternal preservation.

I. This Ark Depicts the Identity of Jesus (Vs. 10-11)

A. His Humanity is Incorruptible (Vs. 10)

B. His Deity is Indisputable (Vs. 11)

II. This Ark Displays the Priority of Jesus (Vs. 10)

A. He has First Preeminence

III. This Ark Details the Sufficiency of Jesus (Vs. 16)

The Mercy Seat (Exodus 25: 17-22) Proposition: In this obsolete piece of furniture, we see some indispensable truth that every follower Jesus Christ needs to see about the Lord Jesus. Every Christian can discover great blessing in this mercy seat by understanding the three special qualities of this mercy seat.

I. A Place of Sovereign Presence

A. A Throne of Purity (Vs. 22)
