Now that prom is less than a few months away you may be wondering what is there left to do to get ready. If you haven’t found the perfect dress just yet do not panic there is still a bit of time, if you have not found quite what you’re looking for in the stores, try looking at prom shops online. Most online prom shops have reasonable prices and the shipping usually only takes a few weeks. Before purchasing a dress online you should take a picture of the dress you are interested in to a prom or bridal shop and ask a sales assistant to pull you a dress that will fit similar to the one you want to buy, this way you will order the right size.

If you have already found your perfect dress and are wondering what you can do while you wait for it to be tailored this is the time to start booking your hair, makeup, or nail appointments if needed. Around the time of prom hair dressers and makeup artists are extremely busy. The time is now to contact salons and spas to make your appointments.

Once your dress is found, you have booked all necessary appointments it is time to start shopping for shoes and accessories. When picking out shoes I suggest you pick them out before you get your dress hemmed, this way you will know really how long you want your dress to be with your shoes. As for accessories, wait until your dress is home from the seamstress this way you can really examine your dress, and see what needs to be added.

Hope these tips were helpful for you and everyone have a happy and fun 2012 prom!

The new iPad is now out and is loaded with many new features making it an item

you might want to check out if interested in thin easily portable handheld tablets. This new iPad has very similar features that you would expect to see from the previous generations of iPad’s or other apple products, such as the iPhone or iPod. However this new device has been updated with some new features, which give that extra incentive to want to go pick one up.

Some of these new improved features include an even clearer looking touch screen, which is due to the new enhanced retina display. This means that text is razor sharp and the colours are even more vibrant than previous models, also you can view your photos and videos with more detail than ever before. This new iPad has also been given a new A5X chip, which gives the device, enhanced visual graphics and performance for gaming, and allows it to continue to keep it previous 10 hours of battery life. The third generation iPad can now take 5-megapixel photos and can shoot videos in 1080p HD video, which is quite an improvement over the second generation iPad’s 1-megapixel camera, and 720p HD video recording.

Another main incentive for people to go pick up the new iPad is it now supports the fastest cellular networks around the world, which include the 4G LTE networks in the US and Canada. This allows you to download, stream video, and browse the web at even more amazing speeds. You can now purchase this new iPad starting at just $499 and since this new device is now on the market, the prices of the previous generations of iPad’s have gone down and you can get the iPad 2 starting at $399 so if you’re looking to get a brand new device I would recommend getting the new generation iPad, even though it is a little more pricey, the new features seem to make up for the extra money your paying. However if you already have an iPad 2, or have recently purchased one, I recommend staying with that generation for now, and wait it out until a newer generation iPad comes along with even more features.

One of the hardest decisions in a person’s life is deciding what they want to do after high school, a lot of time people are unsure what they want to be, and the career path they want to follow. However when looking for the ideal university, or other form of pos t secondar y ins t i tu t ion , an individual should look at their own personal interests and strengths. Luckily in just New Brunswick alone t here are many great op t ions available for students wishing to get the most out of their university careers. One school in particular, which has been ranked as the #1 undergraduate university in Canada by Maclean’s magazine for 15 of the last 21 years is Mount Allison University, which is located in Sackville, NB. This school is known for its smaller class sizes, allowing more one on one time between the professor and students and great learning environment. Mount Allison offers five degrees to undergraduate students, which include Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Fine Arts, Bachelor of Commerce, and a Bachelor of Music. Mount Allison also offers many postgraduate degrees in the faculty of science. Another great university for people who are interested in pursuing a career in the arts or education is St. Thomas University, which is located in Fredericton, NB. This school offers undergraduate degrees only, and is a great option for people who want to focus their learning in the arts, and the main programs offered focus on

liberal arts, humanities, journalism, education, and social work. St. Thomas houses approximately 3000 students altogether in its five main areas of study. Another great school if looking for some place that is close and offers a wide variety of degrees is UNB, which has two main campuses in Saint John and Fredericton. Both are very good schools, which of fer undergraduate courses in all most areas of study, as well as many other graduate studies. UNBSJ has also made quite a few new improvements in the last few years with improving and building new institutions, and in the fall of 2010 UNBSJ partnered with Dallhousie University to open the first English language medical school in the province making it a great option for anyone who is interested in the faculty of medicine.

In today’s society, the majority of daily consumers use Interact,

Visa or MasterCard to pay for items. By doing so, less and less

money is transferred to and from people by the means of cash. Most

recently the Canadian government announced that by fall, the

Canadian penny will not be made and will be worth nothing. The

reason why the penny is becoming obsolete is due to the fact that it

costs more than a penny and a half to create one penny.

Technology is becoming more and more advanced each and

every day. Technologists predict that someday possibly in the near

future, consumers will be able to make purchases at stores with their

smart phones and other devices. With this being said, someday it

might be possible that all forms of physical money will not exist. The

world would simply be a plastic card society, and smart devices

would be even more important in our daily lives. Society would be

more dependent on technology then ever.

No matter if in the future, society abandons physical money or they

use plastic cards such as Interact, money will change. We already see

this by getting rid of the penny. What could be next? The nickel?
