Uses of ser…
• Ser is used to express an inherent trait or a characteristic that does not change.
Ejemplos
• Ella es terca. (She is stubborn.)• Yo soy paciente. (I am patient.)

• You use ser de to tell where someone or something is from and what something is made of.
Ejemplos
• La profesora es de Puerto Rico. (The teacher is from Puerto Rico.)
• El café es de Colombia. (The coffee is from Colombia.)
