LEVEL 1 September Supplemental Learning Welcome to Level 1 PREP! God saw all he had made, and indeed it was very goodGenesis 1:31 During September, Level 1 will be learning how God created everything and has done so out of His love for us. He loves His creation and He wants it to continue. Students will be starting from the very beginning…the Story of Creation in the Book of Genesis (beginning of the Bible) and what all God has made. Creation is all around us. This includes fruit, land, pets, insects, plants, water, oceans, mountains and life. All of these have a purpose in God’s creation because every living thing big and small is different. Creation is wonderful and we, as humans, need to make sure it stays like that. We need to take care of and protect all of Gods creation. As supplemental learning for September, have your child point out things that God has created. So the students understand just how special nature is, take time to talk with them about ways your family can help protect the world and write them down as a reminder. Did you know? The St. Ignatius Library is open to ALL parish families. If you would like to explore more on Creation, check out the following books, currently in our library: “Creation” by Gerald McDermott “God’s Amazing World” by Eileen Spinelli “The Beautiful World that God Made” by Rhonda Gowler Greene “Book of Bible Stories” by Tomie dePaola
