Primary 5 Hope Newsletter September 13th, 2013 Dear Parents, Welcome back to school! Hope you all had a wonderful summer break. I am the homeroom teacher for P5 Hope. I am very happy to have your child in my class this year! I look forward to spending the whole year with him/her and guiding them to reach their goals. With your support and cooperation, I hope I will be able to make a difference. Head Teachers: Ms. Karyn and Mr. AdamMr. Ben is the new P.E. teacher. He has taught PE in kindergarten for several years and we welcome him to our school!

Uniform Please make sure your child wears the correct uniform for the day. PE uniforms only on the PE day (Monday) and Friday (Activities). PE shoes must be plain white. On other days they must wear the summer uniform.

Reminders:  1. If you would like your child to take part in the Speech Festival, you should have already filled in and returned the forms. 2. Lunch Mats: To encourage cleanliness and good table manners, please ensure your child has a table mat for lunch and the required cutlery. 3. Do check your child’s handbook and sign in at least once a week. You can use the handbook to send a note for me. 4. Homework: Homework is given to ensure your child practices what’s learnt in class. It is best if your child does the homework themselves to encourage responsibility and self-reliance. Daily homework will be updated on the website too, along with the students noting it in their handbooks.
