Greetings from the VP!

Hello Louisiana-Mississippi-West Tennessee District Key Clubbers,

My name is Kevin Zhang and I am currently a senior at Olympia

High School in the Pacific Northwest District. I am honored to have

been elected as your 2014-2015 Key Club International Vice

President. I enjoyed meeting many of you at ICON this past month.

For those of you that I did not get the opportunity to meet, I hope to

see you at next year’s ICON in Indianapolis as we celebrate Kiwanis’s

100th year anniversary.

One of my main goals as vice president is to go back to our roots and focus on

service. I hope to accomplish this by finding new organizational partners that will promote

service to all of our members. After meeting with the Growth and Development committee

this past week, they have already begun this intensive task. Another one of my main goals is

to connect with all of the branches of the K-Family. Having already met my Circle-K

counterpart, I hope to work closely alongside her in order to bring Key Club and Circle-K

closer. About a month ago, I also got the chance to meet your District Governor, Tabitha

Kearns. I really look forward to working with her and your International Trustee, Robbie

Mathis, in order to further better your district for this upcoming service year!

To close, thank you to every single one of you that voted for me at ICON this past July.

I pledge to do my best in working with the rest of the International Board to bring our

wonderful organization to new heights.

Yours in Service and Friendship,

Kevin Zhang Kevin Zhang

Take The Eliminate Project to

social media! UPWORTHY and the U.S. Fund for UNICEF

have created videos to advertise The

Eliminate Project. Share these videos to

promote fundraising and awareness for the

project!

"A disease you've probably never heard of is

killing kids. Not your kids. But someone else's

kids."

"She held the hand of a mom whose baby

died right in front of them. It doesn't have to

be that way."

With a new and improved website, the district has added new

ways for clubs to become more involved in the district. Your

club can be featured on the new website in various ways. The

district is looking for an outstanding club each month, so

nominate your club by emailing your Lieutenant Governor! We

would also like to hear about your favorite MEP project to be

featured under the MEP tab.

Visit our new website at www.lmtkeyclub.org. The old address,

www.lamisstennkeyclub.org, will soon be linked to the new website.
