Dear Virginia Tech Alumni and Friends,

Travel with us to the Golden State, where you will experience a wide range of incredible panoramas ranging from coastline to towering mountain peaks. This tour includes a pri-vate Dome Railcar ride up the coast, three National Park visits (Yosemite, Sequoia & King’s Canyon), the charming seaside towns of Monterey and Carmel plus touring in Los Angeles & Hollywood.

A ride along California’s Coast in a private restored Dome Railcar is sure to be a highlight. Enjoy an included lunch, dinner, cocktails and snacks during your rail journey. Next, visit Monterey and take in the stunning Monterey Bay Aquarium, considered to be among the world’s best. You’ll enjoy exploring Cannery Row before embarking on the Scenic 17 Mile Drive, which hugs the coastline and features landmarks such as Pebble Beach and Lone Cypress Point, finishing with a visit to the town of Carmel.

Three of California’s most spectacular National Parks are included on the program. Yosem-ite National Park is considered by many to be the crown jewel of the National Park system and features breathtaking highlights such as Half Dome, El Capitan and Yosemite Falls. Sequoia & King’s Canyon National Parks feature beautiful mountain scenery including the General Sherman Tree which is the largest tree on Earth.

A visit to Los Angeles wraps up the program with visits to the Grove and the LA Farmer’s Market along with a panoramic LA City Tour that features Beverly Hills with Rodeo Drive and Hollywood with the Walk of Fame.

Please review the itinerary details and keep in mind that roundtrip airfare is included in the tour price. We hope that you can join us on this incredible trip!
