GREAT LAKES SWING DANCE CLUB

Message from our President

Hello Dancers!

The next club Board meeting will be held on Monday,

September 16th at 7pm. It will take place at Ernie Callard’s

home: 5109 Bloss Dr., Swartz Creek. All club members in good

standing are welcome to attend.

The club picnic held on August 5th at the Polish Legion of

American Veteran’s Park was a great success as usual. There

were 112 members and non-members in attendance. Angela

Markle kept the floor full of dancers with her wonderful

variety of music. We could not have asked for a better ending

with the beautiful rainbow everyone enjoyed. A big thank you

to Marge and Leo Brennan along with the members who helped

set-up, clean up and tear down.

September 4th is College Night at RollHaven in Grand Blanc.

Support your favorite college/university by wearing something

representative of that school as you dance the night away to

DJ Joann’s tunes.

September’s dance lesson is the Social taught by Colette

Simerson. Our DJ line-up: Joann, Angela, Dave and Ed.
