Back from the brink of extinction.

September 1st, 2019 marks 80 years since Adolph Hitler ordered the invasion of Poland. His intentions were anything but noble: subjugation and eventual annihilation of the Polish people.

God had different plans.

Today, despite Hitler’s intentions and over 40 years of Russian occupation, Poland has made good progress toward recovery.

PEM’s role in what God is doing is to help Polish evangelicals reach their own countrymen with the gospel.

Warsaw after German bombing and occupation in the war years.

Family Camp hits the mark once again.

Shelley, from Pennsylvania (L), Ben from Illinois (C), and Mick (R) from Minnesota, were a part of the American contingent that helped with ministry and enjoyed getting to know Polish brothers & sisters during the camp.

Please pray for those who came to Christ at the camp or grew in their faith, to become engaged in ministry.

Crafts designed to reinforce the lesson were a daily delight to the children.

Shelley and Marcelina planned and led the children’s hour every day.

Daria (R), saved as a teen at camp, brought her new daughter to visit.

More about the Ukrainian connection.

Seated above is Igor, foster father to a house full of children in Ukraine, and some of his children who came to Camp Eden’s Family Camp this summer.

Thanks to Camp Eden and many of you, this meaningful outreach was made possible. We were informed that two of the young people accepted Christ as a result.

Please pray that they would grow spiritually, and become evangelists in this neighboring country.

Update on new Katowice church. This church, still in its infancy, seized on the opportunity to move to a more suitable facility, an entire

apartment in a nearly renovated apartment house. They have called their first pastor, and have been blessed by a number of Ukrainian families moving from Ukraine to the area.

New pastor, Adam Sławinski. The church’s new home, undergoing renovation.

Their new worship space.

Among those joining them are a woman who spent over 30 years as a Jehovah’s Witness, but who has now found Christ, a former nun of 41 years who has placed her faith in Christ alone for the free gift of salvation, and

several Ukrainian believers who recently emigrated from Ukraine to Katowice. Please pray for God to bless this Katowice church as they share the love of Christ with their neighbors.
