Irish Aran Cabled ScarfThis class is step one to achieving your goal of mastering cable knitting. We'll begin the scarf by following row by row directions. Then, when you are comfortable with the basic pattern, Debbie will give you the opportunity to knit the Irish way. Debbie has studied extensively with Rosaleen Hegarty, who manages a group of production knitters in Ireland. This method teaches you to see the flow of your stitches freeing you from row by row directions. Once you learn this method, you’ll be ready to tackle full sweater projects. You’ll also find yourself applying the lessons learned to all your knitting projects.

2015Fashion Show 10th Annual!

Sunday, November 15, Aberdeen Manor Ballroom

1 to 4 pmEnjoy the good company of your knitting and crochet friends and their guests over an elegant light lunch at our 10th annual fashion show. This is our day to celebrate your knitting and crochet accomplishments during the past year. You can model your creations or have one of our models walk the runway wearing your piece. We’ll be modeling all the pieces that have come off our needles (and crochet hooks) this past year. There will also be a silent auction of Sheep’s Clothing sample items. Proceeds benefit the good work of the Pink Ribbon Society in northwest Indiana. Do you have a non-knitting/crocheting friend or relative who just doesn’t get you? Invite that person to be your guest for this great event and your guest understand you and your yarn craft.

Tickets: $30Reservations required.
