Certification in Volunteer Administration- The "Certified in VolunteerAdministration" (CVA) credential is offered for practitioners in volunteer resourcesmanagement by the Council for Certification in Volunteer Administration. As aperformance-based certification, CVA is designed to measure an individual's"knowledge-in-use"--the application of knowledge and skills by those with real-lifeexperience in this role. Fr. Larry Snyder Announces Plans to Transition from Leadership Role - Catholic Charities USA (CCUSA) announced that its president, Rev. Larry Snyder,has accepted a leadership position at the University of St. Thomas, a Catholicuniversity based in the Twin Cities of St. Paul and Minneapolis. CCUSA islaunching a national search for Snyders replacement and he will assist in thesearch process.

Snyders last day at CCUSA will be Jan. 31, 2015. He will start Feb. 1 as theuniversitys Vice President for Mission, responsible for furthering the universitysmission of educating students to be morally responsible leaders who thinkcritically, act wisely, and work skillfully to advance the common good.
