Welcome to Honors Student Council!
September 16, 2013
As Honors Student Council we:◦ Represent and lead all honors students ◦ Liaise between honors students and other university bodies ◦ Bring the honors community together◦ Provide programming for honors students◦ Build student leaders
Vision for 2013-2014: ◦ To involve more honors students and honors organizations,
to increase the sense of community, and to commit to greater representation.
Our Mission and Vision
Meetings are mandatory◦ Every other Monday (Rudder 510, 8:30 pm)◦ Excused absences will be assessed on an individual basis
50% of all socials, events, etc.◦ Exceptions: D&D, mentoring (if not signed up)…
Required for:◦ End-of-semester dinner◦ Running for an officer position (after 1 semester)
Attendance
Dues◦ $25/semester◦ $40/yearPays for socials, end-of-semester dinner, subsidizes shirt costs, etc.
Shirts◦ Navy HSC classic = $10◦ Periodic table = $12(for members)
