Welcome and Introductions 1.0 Technical Director update

1.1 Coaching course (Calgary/Edmonton) Course in Calgary is Set for Sat Oct 2nd and Edmonton Oct 21st and 22nd, all coaches will receive Team Handball Community sport level

1.2 Reffing course (course went well, Teddy will run a little course on Oct 2nd for the teachers in Calgary

1.3 Mini Handball Tournament set for October 13th 1.4 Jr High Tournament Set for Dec 3rd and 4th 1.5 ASAA, Provincials ( we are working on helping find location, trying for

Calgary 1.6 Calendar of events. Is up on the website. 1.7 U-18 Programs 7 boys and 14 girls registered. 1.8 Provincial Programs Jr teams are training, Sr do to start until Jan1.9 Ewe Program- Deadline is up and people approved are Lyndon Suvanto,

Alicia Chung, Matt Ruff, Jodi Ehrman Nathan Maripain, Curtis Veltman, Shaquille BBQ, Tyrell Johnston, Lydia Roseman, Shannon proskow. Emily Frieburger

1.10 University program and U-23 program. (promoting right now the new programs, also we need to start looking at what it take to get into ACAC)

1.11 Website. Dan Motion we get a new Website, Chris 2nd the motion, All in Favor.

2.0 ATHL 2.1 Jr League, all teams with many players, all clubs practicing. Danza HC

asked if Danza can put another team in the Jr W league, Chris motions to Allow 2nd team in the league, Dan 2nd it, all in favor,

2.2 Sr league Start date is Oct 24th and cost for season is $2050 2.3 Calgary grant, Calgary has asked for the $1,000 travel grant, Mike

Motions to give $1,000 with the stipulation that Calgary Handball Club supply 12 people for coaching course and in Jan we run a Ref symposium in Calgary with 7 people at the course.

2.4 Transfers fees, Dan motion that the $50 transfer fee is a onetime thing for the person and not every year.

2.5 Transfer request (Doug asked that he be released to Danza, Board approves.

2.6 Gummersbach, Pax Merge- Pax and Gummersbach will merge into Gummersbach for one year due to small numbers in club at Sr age.

3.0 Provincial Team

3.1 Trips Set- Jr Women-North Carolina, Jr Men-North Carolina and Sr Men-New york 3.2 Coaches all selected- Josh Sickler- Sr Men’s Coach, Mike Ney-Sr Women, Doug Bennett Jr Men and Mike Nahmiash Jr Women 4.0 National team Funding 4.1 Funding- Player will apply for National team grant and each player will be funded on case to case bases.
