Irish SEPA Business Service (SBS) Scheme is fully supported by Herbst Insight ERP! What is SBS? With no Irish banks signing up to the SEPA DD Business- to-Business (B2B) scheme and rising concerns from Irish businesses as to the potential difficulties this may cause (B2B is expected to be available in Ireland only in 2016), IPSO have come up with an interim solution called the SEPA Business Service. Creditors will require each of their business debtors to complete a Debtor Confirmation where debtors will waive their right to the 'no questions asked refund' for authorised transactions and confirm they are a business customer. Both Creditor and Debtor must be business customers - the Service is not available to Consumers. Creditors must check that the Debtor's Bank has agreed to participate in the SEPA Business Service. The following banks are currently participating the scheme: AIB, BOI, BNP Paribas, Danske Bank, Permanent TSB, Ulster Bank Ireland Ltd, Citibank Europe PLC (as creditor's bank only), Royal Bank of Scotland PLC, Bank of America N.A. Dublin. More details are available at: http://www.ipso.ie/section/SEPASDDBusinessService Herbst Insight is ready to facilitate operating both SBS scheme (to deal with your business partners) and standard SDD CORE scheme (for dealing with your consumers) for your business!
