반응도 마찬가지입니다. 275마력의 3.0리터 디젤 S엔진과 240마력의 3.0리터 디젤엔진 모두 새롭고 혁신적인 트윈터보

Pattern placement is the process to replace prints on new graphic documents, ac-cording to the real size garment patterns or to place patterns into right position on print fabrics. It can prohibit mistakes to cut out prints fabrics wrongly, also can give perfect matching between seam to seam.

Skull is the key factor to symbolize Alexander Mcqueen. Every season skulls have been developed different ways, according to the catwalk concepts. In 2010 S/S RTW and RESORT, skulls are generated from snake, jellyfish, octopus, greenmoth, nurave, rose, optical pattern, geometric pattern and camouflage. These developed skulls are used to make T-shirts and scarves in McQueen commercial line.

When digital prints are developed, print elements are engineered into body shape: neck, shoulder, bust, waist, hip and leg. This process are very important to make engineered print textile in the beginning. After this step, 2 or 3 engineered body are placed on 1400mm width graphic document. The gap between engineered body shapes is filled out, using print elements

Watermark is the work to find my own style of illustration. Basically, I draw idea sketch on paper after then add effects, using illustrator and photoshop in computer. The concept is to give strong contrast with black and white, but black and white are connected with layered gray tone watermarks.

Project Description

Computer power and digital technology have developed exponentially within the last decade. 3D visualisation has played a significant role across a diverse range of design sectors including architecture, product design and the digital games industry. In fashion however, most designers still use traditional design methods which inhibits creativity, manufacturing efficiency and associated profitability. My investigation explores a number of formative design processes utilising new technology, appropriate aspects of 3D visualisation and how these aspects can inform and extend the boundaries of fashion design and innovation.

Proposal

To identify the symbiotic relationship between fashion and contemporary design processes that use 3D digital technology in order to develop new meaning and possibilities for the future of fashion. The methodology which draws on the intellectual principles and concepts inherent in Ô high designÕ including architecture and automobile design also reflects the evolution of my personal design process and skills. The resultant virtual catwalk provides an insight into the advantages of migrating to a 3D environment from a design, manufacturing and consumer orientated prospective.

This project explores how the application of 3D digital technologies can be utilised within the fashion design process to improve visualisation, extend creativity and satisfy future manufacturing requirements. It demon-strates specific applications of 3D technology already established in other areas of the creative industries and how this can be applied to extend contemporary practices in fashion design.

Based on Function Follows Form 2D garments design, designs are redesigned as 3D garments, using Maya. 3D programme has various advantages to design garments because of rapidly modification, real-time rendering, UV texturing, adapting real size fabric and various render views. In the future, 3D programmes will provide efficient ways of garment design to fashion designer and fashion industries.

Function Follows Form, 2008 Ô Function follows FormÕ is a quotation of Postmodernism Architecture Robert Venturi. Accord-ing to the way of designing products and using materials, we can give a new function or not. If we use the things which are we usually throw away in trash can, When we think a different way of designing and using, it is important not only how to make it but also, how to use it.

To design products, form and function are important factors. There is close correlation between form and function. Designers design the form of products, consumers use the functions. Same functions can be changed differently, according to form. Also, new function can be created, as form is changed. Good function can follows good design. Ô Function Follows FormÕ is the combination of 3 concepts: Postmodernism, 60Õ s Culture, and Sustainability. Dissymmetric, mini, and recycling are key elements to design Ô Function Follows FormÕ garments. Change new form of garment to use recycing materials, and the dissymmetric form of detail, shape, and line is added to mini concept.

Silk Road, 2004

The Silk Road was an extensive interconnected network of trade routes across the Asian continent con-necting East, South, and Western Asia with the Mediterranean world, including North Africa and Europe. Silk Road was not only conduits for silk, but also for many other products. They were very important paths for cultural and technological transmission for thousands of years. This work inspired from Silk Road. All garments has the concept the mixture of culture, fabric, shape and colours.

Silk Road garment designs were exhibited at GANA Art Centre in Seoul Korea in Oct, 2004

Chaos, 2004

Sometimes people trap themselves in various rules. The rules can give efficiency in work process, but sometimes these rules prohibit designers’ creativity. I want to try escape the rule of pattern making and draping. This work has no rules. Just tear gauze and connect each gauze together. I spend 40yards of gauze and 60hours to make this work. Even I spent more time and fabric to make one garment, but it has different meaning compare with other works.

Ô HanbokÕ is the Korean traditional costume. The shape of Hanbok start from box shape and made shape as fold and sew it. Ancient didn’t want to cut fabric as much as possible because it can be modified as different shape later according to changing body shape or age.

This work inspired from the way of making Ô HanbokÕ , but I added changeable form in it. It can be changed differently as skirt, shawl, dress, and coat, according to how people want to wear it.

Changeable shape is added on Hanbok. Layered skirt can be changed as a shawl.

This work inspired from spiderÕ s web. I changed the back side of jacket as the spider net. Each panel twist the others and sew it together, but the connection of each panel is not strong enough to make good shape. The reason is panels were not enough to fix together. However, it break formal jacket form even it need development.
