Get a popular photoelectric sensorhousing style that meets the Allen-Bradley standard of ruggedness. The MiniSight photoelectric sensor is an exact match for one of the industry’smost popular form factors, but withmany additional important featureswithout the additional price.

Like a more robust housing. The ability to withstand repeated 1200 psi(8,270 kPa) washdowns. Separateindicators for power, output and margin.and short-circuit protection on both DCand AC/DC versions. We’ve even labeledit on both sides to make identificationsimple no matter how you mount it.

If your application already uses this stylesensor, you won’t have to make changesto upgrade to the MiniSight. Thedimensions and mounting considerationsare the same, and it can be mounted witheither the 18mm threaded cylindricalnose or by side-mounting it with thethrough-holes. So it’s easy to start reapingthe benefits of using a better sensor.

ColorSight™ 9000

For complex applications that require truecolor detection, the ColorSight 9000Color Recognition Photoelectric Sensor isthe sensor of success. These sensors detectthe presence of a target based on a matchwith a learned reference color, with precision that is adjustable through aneight-position switch. Fast response timemakes them ideal for high-speed applications, while the local and remoteself-teach operation provides superb flexibility. Fiber optic operation increasesapplication flexibility by reducing valu-able installation space occupied by thesensor. LaserSight™ 9000

Rockwell Automation/Allen-Bradleyintroduces a LaserSight to the industrystandard Series 9000. This product isfor tough sensing applications whichrequire a longer range, when theenvironment is dusty or dirty, or whenthe object to be sensed is small. Themaximum sensing distances are 39.6m(130ft) for the polarized retroreflectivesensor and 304.8m (1000ft) for thetransmitted beam. The Class II lasersource provides a visible red beam foreasy alignment even at these distances.

It’s just the right sensor when theapplication calls for precision, ease ofalignment and maximum sensing range.
