How Lancaster county was settled

• About 300 years ago, there was a small Amish community that arrived here from Europe, and settled in Lancaster County Pennsylvania. They arrived here during the time when William Penn was promoting religious and cultural freedom.

Likes and dislikes

• Likes: there are a lot of trees where I live, there is a creek and there is a pond, and big fields.

• Dislikes: in my development there are houses being built so there is a lot of noise, and sometimes there is trash by the creek and graffiti sometimes written on the bridge.

environmentally friendly/not friendly

• Some environmentally friendly things I do are : recycling, I usually don’t have a lot of trash,

• Some not so very environmentally friendly things I do: I leave the TV on a lot when I leave the room, I use a lot of running water,

• What I can do to change the not environmentally friendly things I have a habit of doing, is try to turn off the TV when leaving a room, turn off the running water when I brush my teeth,
