No organization’s structure or job descriptions will match exactly the jobs outlined in this survey. It is critical that participating organizations match their jobs as closely as possible. Our objective is to provide survey results that accurately reflect competitive pay levels for jobs involving work of a similar nature and performed at a similar skill level.

Submitting Survey Data:You have three options: 1) Complete the online questionnaire and upload your spreadsheet of compensation data into the online questionnaire.

2) Download questionnaire documents from Employers Council’s website at: https://www.employerscouncil.org/solution/compensation-strategy-and-hr-data/survey-questionnaires.. You then will enter your data into the Word document questionnaire and Excel Rate Sheet and return to [email protected].

3) If you have access to your salary data in your payroll or HRIS system, download your data and submit a spreadsheet and complete the general information questions in the online questionnaire or in the Word document questionnaire that you will download from our website. If you are reporting salary data for employees in multiple geographic locations, be sure to complete the Geographic Location column on the rate sheet.

Personnel in this classification have had some formal training, are licensed by the State of Colorado, but are not Graduate Nurses and are permitted to administer medication. Duties include all those, which are listed in description of duties for Nursing Assistant, plus those assigned where advanced techniques are utilized. May include IV’s.

DIRECT PARTICIPANT CARE (continued)85050 TEAM LEADERServes as a manager and member of the hospice and/or home health team, providing clinical support and coordination for the care provided to patients/families. Typically reports to Director of Clinical Services and requires RN licensure, Bachelor’s degree in nursing and/or two-three years experience in hospice/home health. This position is a First-Line Supervisor.

85051 GRIEF SERVICES COUNSELORResponsible for providing follow-up grief services to hospice families after a hospice death. Facilitates grief groups, provides community grief presentations, and takes community calls for grief support. Typically requires a minimum of a Master’s degree and two years prior experience working with grief support.

85052 SOCIAL WORKERInterviews participant and family members to obtain information about health history. Evaluates data gathered in terms of medical plan of treatment and available social service programs. Helps participant and family understand, accept and follow medical recommendations.

85053 SOCIAL WORKER (MSW)Interviews participant and family members to obtain information about health history. Evaluates data gathered in terms of medical plan of treatment and available social service programs. Develops and monitors treatment plans, monitors treatment progress, documents significant interactions, and maintains clinical charts and other reporting data. Requires a Master’s degree in Social Work.
