• All students are expected to be there (Dr. Giles must approve any absences *you will present later)

Week before Boards Night:
• Portfolios to the Media Center before 3:30 pm
• Place them in the box labeled with your room number
• Make plans to meet this deadline even if you are not in school that day
Senior Boards Day:
• Check in with your English teacher• 5:30 pm• Chorus room
• Report to your presentation room by 6:15 pm
Senior Boards Night:
• This is NOT the time to check your presentation on the computer in the room
• Family and friends are NOT allowed on campus
Senior Boards Night:
• Judges:• 2 Wheeler teachers (including a
Head Judge)• 3+ members of the community
• Students• 5 or 6 per room
• Order of presentations is pre-determined
Presentation Rooms:
• Letter to the Judges will be read prior to each presentation
• After each presentation, students are asked to leave the room while judges complete grading
• You MUST stay for all the presentations• 20 pt deduction for leaving early
Presentation Process:
• Set up your presentation, organize your product
• Relax, smile• Remember all your presentation
techniques• Shake hands with the judges• The judges want you to do well!!
Your Presentation:
• Thank the judges• Take your portfolio• Celebrate with friends with a party in
your honor in cafe• Graded rubrics returned on Friday• Certificates for ‘Best Presentation’
and ‘Best Product’
Post Presentation:
• Big night for Wheeler community• Culmination of your semester’s work• Opportunity to show off your work• It will be fun – if you are prepared!!
