PROJECT MANAGEMENT:• In conjunction with the Account Director, programme

management and planning (budgets, execution plans and resources). Maintaining an oversight of all aspects of project delivery on individual accounts in line with best practice.

• Reporting into Account Director/Team Leader to manage a selection of cross channel projects.

• Overseeing client communications, management and content for all client projects on each Account.

• When appropriate, supplementing AD in Senior Stakeholder relationship liaison (attending planning and briefing meetings, presentations, wash-up meetings etc.).

• Proving support and guidance to Project Managers and Project Executives in any aspect of their work.

• Managing client projects to agreed specifications including the co-ordination of internal and external resources in order to present a single point of contact to the client.

• Ensuring client projects are delivered on time and within budget.

• Maintaining regular client contact and ensuring the client is kept fully abreast of project progress at all times. Including preparation for/attendance at client meetings and teleconferences.

• Maintaining best practice in project management at all times by adhering to the principles of ‘initiate, plan, execute, control and close’.

• Maintaining a project paper trail by ensuring all relevant project documentation is maintained and completed in line with Group process protocols: scope and briefing documents, financial reporting, planning and milestone documents, supplier briefing and performance measurement, debrief and closure documentation.

• Ensuring all supplier contracts are in the best client and Group interest and proactively challenging and negotiating with contractors to produce savings.

• Liaising with clients, internal resources and suppliers, professionally, efficiently and on time, building solid and respectful relationships.

• Keeping a proactive and solutions-driven eye on all deliverables, seeking the most cost-effective solutions and suitable contractors.

• Acquiring and growing technical knowledge in order to enhance the ability to liaise with contractors.

• Constantly reviewing and challenging the supplier base in order to ensure that our partners are matched in terms of capability, value, creativity and quality.

• Conducting regular internal project meetings to ensure all stakeholders are fully aware of roles, responsibilities and deadlines within each project.

• Proactively maintaining control over projects to ensure that scope and finance creep are anticipated and managed in order to maintain profit margins.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT ...cont:• Overseeing project support and on-site staff ensuring

they are fully briefed, their work is checked and work is completed on time and to the standards expected by Group.

• Continuingly updating the Team Leader and the Account Director through progress reports on the status of each project.

• Escalating any emerging client issues to the Account Director and escalating any project issues to the Team Leader.

• Ensuring resourcing within projects is appropriate at all times and all resourcing requests are raised/discussed with the Team Leader.

• Delivering and managing client projects onsite and undertaking any other travel where necessary.

PROPOSAL AND PITCH:• Actively participating in proposal planning,

researching and writing as required, demonstrating a questioning approach to ensure that the Group is delivering a point of difference at every opportunity.

• Supporting work on proposals and credentials that answer the client’s brief, objectives and expectations, resulting in successful conversions to projects that meet Rapiergroup’s needs in relation to revenue and profit margins with support from the Account Director and Team Leader.

• Presenting as part of the team at pitches, where required.

FINANCIAL:• Budget preparation, ongoing management,

reconciliation and closure.

• Maximising profitability of each project by:- leveraging supplier opportunities- selling and managing additional Group services- monitoring time charges and negotiating

additional fees as appropriate

• Utilising and updating budgets and time sheets in conformance with company procedures.

• Accepting full financial responsibility and accountability for allocated programs/projects.

SELF-DEVELOPMENT: • Attending supplier presentations to enhance product

knowledge whether in UK or overseas and actively encouraging team members to do so also.

• Attending training courses, as appropriate, to either learn new or enhance existing skills.

• Making recommendations to the Operations Team on improving working practices for future development of the Group.
