SILVERTHORNE THEATER PRESENTS Thursday, July 5, 1:00-2:00 p.m.

Lucinda Kidder discusses the theater company’s third

show of the season and another world premiere,

White, Black & Blue, the work of two local play-

wrights, dealing with timely – and timeless – issues.

Walter, a black man, breaks into the home of Joe, an

older white man, late at night. Walter has fled the

scene of an altercation with a white off-duty police

officer, during which he took the officer’s gun. It’s

not the way it seems. Issues of race, trust, responsibil-

ity & last straws comprise powerful themes in the

story. We’ll talk about the ways in which expecta-

tions and context shape behavior and opinion. Open

to all Greenfield Senior Center members. Member-

ship is free. Pre-registration requested, drop-in on

space available basis only. Please stop by the Front

Desk or call (413) 772-1517 ext 0 to reserve your seat
