Human Rights awareness Seminar organized on the eve of Gandhi Jayanti by 73 Bn, CRPF, Andheria More, New Delhi. A Seminar on ‘Human Rights and Police Forces’ was organized at the pre cinc ts of 73 Bn whi ch is loca ted at Andher ia More near Mahr auli , New Del hi. The Officer s, SO’s and Men from 73 Bn participated in the Semina r. The gatherin g was addressed by Km. Natasha Jain, the youngest human rights activist. Km. Natasha had earlier rep resented Indi a at ‘Youth for human righ ts Internatio nal’ in USA. She is the first Indian to become member of any such organization. Km. Natasha has also addressed from the United Nations platform and has delivered lectures on human rights to Pol ice Officer s and school child ren. She is a student of Cla ss Xth and has been award ed by the President of India . Km. Natasha emphasized on human rights awareness by the Police Personnel and implement them during performance of their duties. Km. Natasha al so quoted cert ain case studies to und erstand the su bject and the spirit of huma n rights in its entirety. Km. Ruchika Sukh, Advocate of Sup reme Court of India also participated in the Seminar and organized a question-answer session to clear fundamentals of human rights. As is widely known, Police Forces are the main agency at the hands of state to maintain and enforce law and order in the country. While discharging their duties to maintain law & order and peace and harmony in society they are put on a great strain hence it is utmost essential for each one of the member of the forces to be aware of the sanctity of human rights and implement them at the grass root level. Thi s Seminar is an attemp t in this dire ctio n. Km. Nata sha expr esse d that human rights are integral part of the democratic way of life and must be honored by every member of the society. She also emphasized to be cautious and effortful in preventing violation of human rights by the Police themselves and also assist others in doing so. The functio n wa s organiz ed by 73 Bn, CRPF which is located at Andher ia More. Address ing the gatherin g Commanda nt Sh. P.S. Rajora express ed the need of the hour and high level of awareness among the members of the forces to enable them discharges their duties justifiably. The Unit has recently arrived in Delhi and engaged in law & orde r and security duties in Delhi . Rajora expr essed that the young children are precious jewel  of the nati on gifted with imme nse potenti al. The soc iety must pr ovi de them bef itting envir onment to gro w and ta p the pot ential resourc es for growth and de velopme nt of the Nation. He also announ ced that such function s would continue to be orga nized in future too for bene fit of the lot. Today it is highly essential to educate police personnel in order to make them perform their duti es effici entl y and boldl y. The funct ion was attende d by local senior citiz ens, officers and media persons from all fields. Suitable rewards were also given on the occasion.

A Seminar on ‘Human Rights and Police Forces’ was organized at the

precincts of 73 Bn which is located at Andheria More near Mahrauli, New Delhi.

The Officers, SO’s and Men from 73 Bn participated in the Seminar. The gathering

was addressed by Km. Natasha Jain, the youngest human rights activist. Km. Natasha

had earlier represented India at ‘Youth for human rights International’ in USA. She

is the first Indian to become member of any such organization. Km. Natasha has also

addressed from the United Nations platform and has delivered lectures on human

rights to Police Officers and school children. She is a student of Class Xth and has

been awarded by the President of India. Km. Natasha emphasized on human rightsawareness by the Police Personnel and implement them during performance of their

duties. Km. Natasha also quoted certain case studies to understand the subject and

the spirit of human rights in its entirety. Km. Ruchika Sukh, Advocate of Supreme

Court of India also participated in the Seminar and organized a question-answer

session to clear fundamentals of human rights.

and engaged in law & order and security duties in Delhi. Rajora expressed that the

young children are precious jewel of the nation gifted with immense potential. Thesociety must provide them befitting environment to grow and tap the potential

resources for growth and development of the Nation. He also announced that such

functions would continue to be organized in future too for benefit of the lot. Today it

is highly essential to educate police personnel in order to make them perform their

duties efficiently and boldly. The function was attended by local senior citizens,

officers and media persons from all fields. Suitable rewards were also given on the

occasion.
