Semi conductor Its ability to conduct electrical current.There is not pure conductor like copper and iron.The material in semi conductor are silicon, germanium and gallium arsenida .

Semi conductor A conductor is a material that easily conducts electrical current.

The best conductors are single element materials, such as copper, silver, gold, and aluminum, which are characterized by atoms with only one valence electron very loosely bound to the atom.

These loosely bound valence electrons can easily break away from their atoms and become free electrons.

Therefore, a conductive material has many free electrons that, when moving in a net direction, make up the current.

Conductor When temperature increase the electron will lose and leave vacancies.These vacancy is call hole.Another electron will replace the hole, there are moving in opposite direction.and there are essentially drifting randomly throughout the material.Conduction in semi conductor (doping)Electron movement

This movement of free electrons is one type of current in a semiconductor material and is called electron current.a valence electron can move into nearby hole, with little change in its energy level, thus leaving another hole where it came from.
