Literacy Reflection

In term 1 we looked at the book Once. It is written by Morris Gletizmen and itsWorld War 2. It is the story of a boy named Felix and his journey with a girl namWe read 1-2 chapter/s every lesson and did a activity based on what we read. I factivity as a good way of learning and practicing some new comprehension skilthings like writing a summary of the book in 100 words, Describe character feel

emotions as well as some group and class activities where we had a discussion.

In Term 2 we looked at book club. Book club is an activity where we get dividegroups and read a certain book per group. The book I am reading is Conspiracy May. It is about a boy who has a race going on his life. After reading the amoungroup decides we do the job we are allocated to. The jobs are summarizer, LiteraLuminary, Travel Tracer, Discussion Director Clever Connector, Illustrator and VEnricher. After completing our job we have a discussion with the teacher and tha different amount to read and a different job for each person in the group.

Math Reflection

In term 1 we looked at decimals and fractions. After our test at the start of the todivided into groups and did the same topic though slightly different activities. I Mr. Gleesons group. fter a few weeks we did a test to see if we could get into passed the test and got into MEP. In MEP we tried to solve different problems su3 out of 5 numbers problem In this problem if you take any 5 numbers 3 of them

always equal a multiple of 3. We tried this with different numbers such as primeeven numbers but this always worked. We also started a different problem, in thproblem we tried to figure out a pattern with the perimeter and the area of an 2D

In term 2 we focused on measurement, volume, mass and weight and many mortopics. I found these topics as a fun way to learn a few techniques to make workhard problems easier. We also did some fun activities with Mr. Gillets class.

Inquiry Reflection

In term 1 we looked at Australian Federation a government. To leamore about this topic we went to a 5 day trip to Canberra. There wvisited amazing places such as The old and new parliament house, national museum and to have a little fun we went to Questicon. Af

we came back we made a video on one place that we visited. My von the AIS Australian Institute of Sport).

In term 2 we looked at World Geography. Our term project was to an ad on a country or place to persuade our audience to go to the pthat we have made an ad on. We also looked at all the differentreligions in the world and to celebrate this we had a World Culturaday. I had a lot of fun learning to make an ad and learn new things
