Since it was established by the UK water industry in 1981, WaterAid and our partners have helped more than 21 million people access safe water and 18 million people access improved toilets. With your continued support we believe everyone, everywhere can have clean water by 2030.
That’s enough to pay for 13 new wells in Mali

Last year we reached almost 37,000 people in Mali with clean water
Sita lives in Tienfala village, Mali. Every day she collects water for her family. Since the new taps were built in her village, her life has changed: “Before I had to throw a bucket down a hole to collect water and then pull it up. The rope hurt my hands and it was tiring. Now it’s much easier to collect and the water is much cleaner.”

More than 4 million people in Mali are still living without safe, clean water.

Bill inserts:Including WaterAid leaflets in your customer water bills has helped us to raise awareness and reach new supporters.
Last year, this raised

Since 1994 it has helped us recruit 1,654 new donors, raising an incredible £689,795. That’s enough to help 45,986 people access safe water.
