ason Robison, that’s me. I’m currently a senior pursuing a bachelor’s of

Graphic Design and Painting at the University of South Alabama. As an older student, I have many unusual but interesting experi-ences under my belt. I’ll give you an idea but it’ll be brief. (I promise).I enlisted in the United States Coast Guard where I spent the majority of my time, standing still—yes, still; like a statue. This was because I was a mem-ber of the Honor Guard for two years, where I was able to meet President George W. Bush on several occasions. Beyond that, I worked in aviation. Since then I’ve become a collector of odd

jobs and memories. I worked as the morning show host for two radio stations, 94.5 WHOD, and BAMA 106.1. I was the Project Coordinator for Hepaco, an enivornmental response agency, an editorial cartoonist

for a small newspaper, The Clarke County Democrat. I also spent a good deal of time working with it’s

4-color press and printing the papers. I’ve also been a lifeguard, a dedicated gamer, and the author of the recently published novel series, Spellsong.Since my enrollment at USA, I’ve been a part of numerous student organizations. I’ve designed nu-merous t-shirts, banners, fl yers, booklets, and pamplets for many of them. I was lucky enough to

be elected president of Pi Kappa Alpha in 2011. Together we raised recruitment by 75% from the previous years, as well as posted record breaking numbers for donations to our philanthro-py, Wilmer Hall. It’s a lot to put in text, but it takes all of these very different experiences to explain who I am as a person.
