SELF RELIANCE

There was a time when I tried to fit the mold for certain people, they where happy but that’s not what matters in the end, what matters is that I wasn’t happy.

My pressures mainly came from my family. They preferred my to be something that was the total opposite of who I really was. I was very insecure but Because they mean the most to me I wanted to make them proud so I caved in and tried to be what they wanted.

I was a total stranger to

myself. I hated to make

decisions of my own or say what “I” liked. I did that because if my choices or preferences

where different from everybody else it made me feel like I was different or

weird and that’s what I feared

the most.

I was at my lowest point. I was something I wasn’t ,I wasn’t happy with my self obviously because I wasn’t being real. I was someone who I wanted people to approve of.

Coming to my senses Realizing this is getting me nowhere I made MY first decision by being comterable in my own skin. It was easier said than done, all the time I was someone ealse and I now had to learn to be an indivual and love who I was.

It was time to quit. “I” decided to make choices for myself, “I” decided to be who I was and quit worrying. “I” decided to be my own indivual.

Over Time

Over the years was different for me. This was so different from what I was used to. Making my own choices and decision and not caring what people thought of me felt great. Over time of being the new me I've never been happier. Not holding back anything and being a real person
